May I tell you a story, of an ordinary mother
Her marriage broke down, her father died and she lost her second publishing deal all in 6 months. She really needed to walk out of there with a bigger story to tell.
That's exactly what she did - she went for a walk.
With her two sons. It just happened to be for 33 days, over the Pyrenees mountains, and across 800km of Spain, when the boys were only 16 and 12 years old.
Within 3 weeks of returning home, she was invited to give a talk about her experience.
This became a national inspirational speaking tour, a crowd-funded book,
and an invite to speak on the TEDx red circle. Yes, she is a TEDx Speaker now.
The real story here is how a single mother got singled out to tell her story, when there are 18,000 people walking that same route every single day?
This is the "Power of Story"
